Run/walk for Options Pregnancy Center and Alpena Baby Pantry

ALPENA — The community is invited to a fun run and strollerthon for Options Pregnancy Center and Alpena Baby Pantry starting at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 12 at the Alpena Bandshell at Bay View Park.

Participants will have the option of walking, running, pushing a stroller, or playing cornhole at the starting area.

The course is a two-mile loop through the city. The suggested donation for this fundraiser is $20 per person.

This event is organized by the Knights of Columbus Council 529.

Stroller participants are encouraged to decorate their strollers for the walk.

Festivities will wrap up around 11 a.m.
